Showings and Open Houses
While your house is on the market, it’s important to be flexible with scheduling appointments. You may find yourself eating out while buyers tour your house during dinner hours or spending Sunday afternoon at a park while an Open House is hosted. Some buyers have a small window of time in which they are available to see houses due to work schedules or other commitments.
Before leaving the house, it’s a good idea to take a few minutes to tidy up, wiping down counter tops, putting laundry away in the hamper, and taking out the trash so the house is ready to show at any given time.
